    Misfortune Study

 The purpose of this research study is to investigate the experience of significant misfortune. Specifically, we investigate how aspects of beliefs and experiences impact coping with misfortune.

 

You can take part in this study if you:

  • Are 18 years or older 

  • Have experienced a significant misfortune within the past 12 months  

  • Live in the USA  

  • Are able and willing to participate in a 1-hour 30-min interview by phone or computer (an online survey) or in person.
